You must register IN PERSON for a license exam 30 minutes before any of our classes or by appointment.
 
Photo Permit Holders Who Have Completed the 38-hour Course
If you are currently enrolled or have taken a driver education course consisting of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel, you are eligible to take your license exam 120 days (4 months) from the issue date of your permit.
 
You must bring in the following to register for a license exam at our office:
 
Permit (or copy)
2 photographs with your face clearly visible - passport/wallet size is ideal.  Clearly print your name, high school - if applicable - and date of your exam (if known) on each. Photos must be printed on photo paper and will not be returned.
Social Security Number
Effective 8/1/08: Any student who has obtained their permit 8/1/08 or later is required to complete an additional 32 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. This additional instruction may be taken with the driving school or a parent or legal gardian who has held a valid license for at least the past four consecutive years or any combination thereof.  Parent must appear in person with driver's license to sign application verifying this when reservation is made.
License Exam Reservation Fee - $215 Cash or Check
 
If you will not be finishing any part of the course for any reason, you must have had your permit for no less than 180 days (6 months) as of the day of your license exam and you must bring in a parent to fill out a Home Training Certificate at the time you actually book your license exam.  This form cannot be filled out and added to your application after you book your license exam.
 
**If you have previously failed ANY part of the license exam OR if you have previously booked an exam either with us or with the DMV directly and have cancelled (if you are unsure, please call our office) or have not followed through with the exam for ANY reason after booking, YOU MUST RESUBMIT all of the above. You will need to resubmit the original road test evaluation report (R-279) with your documents if you have previously failed the road portion of the license exam.
